Sea eagles in Scotland have had their best breeding season since their reintroduction in the 1970s, RSPB Scotland has said.
This year has seen 46 breeding pairs - two more than 2008 - and 36 chicks fledge and leave their nests.
RSPB Scotland said it could be the healthiest population for 150 years.

CONCORD, N.H. - New Hampshire’s peregrine falcon population continues to increase, with 27 young raised this year in nests on natural cliffs, a city building, and an interstate highway bridge.

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has donated 150 falcons to the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2008.

Bonita Springs is named in a lawsuit filed by three Bonita Bay residents unhappy new homes will be built near their homes and the city’s oldest eagle’s nest.
